Thriller Arc isn't good but War Arc is, don't listen to everyone else. I really liked Thriller Bark, but the anime pacing made me want to claw my eyes out. I still understand everything that's going on, and got a few of Brook's jokes, but I didn't have to sit and watch it for 2-3 hours. The animation doesn't get too bad after Thriller Bark.
